Measurement of Performance and Energy Consumption of OpenCV Programs on Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi is widely used tiny computer not only for educational purposes but also for IoT devices. Since IoT devices are required to operate with low power/energy consumption, efficient energy management is necessary. In this paper, we measure the performance and energy consumption of Open CV programs on Raspberry Pi. The OpenCV programs are executed under the different execution methods and various execution frequencies, and the characteristics of performance and energy consumption are analyzed.
